Game Samba Job Opportunities

This role is crucial to help us grow our business globally. This position reports to the CEO & Co-Founder.

* Responsibilities:

* Communicate the GameSamba product messages in a way that delights and doesn’t annoy.

* Create efficient workflow process for web developers to achieve Marketing and sales goals.

* Develop ways to increase our Marketing efforts inside our core market in North America.

* Develop and implement digital campaigns across social media, display ad, keyword and direct

Marketing efforts. Manage implementation of all new Marketing plans.

* Drive programs to reach new consumer segments internationally.

* Gather data from vendors/partners about traffic, online behavior, response rates and Marketing

campaigns. Prepare and highlight reports for the management team and make recommendations on

improving Marketing spending and ROI.

* Identify new ways to improve user experience, data-gathering and product presentation on our own

properties and external sites.

* Own and drive the strategy and associated programs for demand generation and retention.

* Provide Marketing and creative leadership, decision-making and workflow processes for co-workers,

vendors/partners.

* Manage the direct email campaigns for all customers in the company database.

* Manage the production of new Marketing materials and web content to support product launches,

Marketing programs, etc.  You won’t be alone but everyone contributes and gets their hands dirty.

* Optimize cross-Marketing initiative for all online properties to help us sell great products to our

current customers.

* Track trends and new tools available for digital Marketing, ROI is paramount.

* Utilize best practices from our outside agencies and always monitor and improve the bottom line.

* Work with web developers to implement new programs, including overseeing integration with

Marketing automation and tracking tools.

* Manage Marketing budgets and work with the following outside agencies:

Quiver/Media Two Interactive www.MediaTwo.net an interactive advertising agency specializing in the strategic planning and buying of media (both digital and traditional).

Michael Meyers Public Relations www.mmpr.com to coordinate our Marketing campaigns on high traffic gaming portals and news outlets and in addition with communications to bloggers, twitter and every other avenue of one-to-many word-of-mouth opportunities that we can find to spread the gospel of GameSamba with our Social Media team.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills:

* Mastery and excellent command of the English language is first and foremost for this position.

* Online Marketing experience and understanding of the online games business is highly preferred.

* Experience developing digital Marketing strategies, dashboards for tracking results and forecasting.

* Experience managing competing priorities.

* You must have the ability to crisply articulate your Marketing vision for GameSamba.

* You must be savvy enough to come up with extremely creative ideas that speak well to the end users.

* You must have experience as a self-motivated and self-directed individual focused on a being part of a team that is focused on accomplishing its goals.

* Bachelor’s degree. Experience matters as much as education.

 

Near Term Goals/Objectives:

* Establish and wrangle the data needed to create and drive Marketing programs that grow revenue

(e.g., quantifying the Demand Generation “funnel”).

* Create target goals & metrics for Demand Generation, Conversion and Retention programs.

* Create a Marketing Plan (and the associated business cases, as needed) to fuel the above bullets.

* Create and execute on a Communication Strategy to fuel the above.

* Provide Marketing and creative leadership, decision-making and work flow processes for co-workers

and vendors/partners.

 

Longer Term Goals/Objectives:

* Build effective relationships with everyone on our team.

* Evaluate performance and successes of the Marketing programs to ensure & fuel constant

improvement.

* Keep an eye on the Technology Horizon and introduce new Marketing tools when appropriate.

* A career path to the Vice President of Marketing position.
