Manage the Channel team in the creation and implementation of national merchandising plans for the launches of all Ubisoft titles.The Senior Director of Channel Marketing will manage a full Channel Marketing team, including a Channel Marketing Director, 3 Channel Managers and a Traffic specialist. Responsibilities for the Channel Marketing team include:

– Promotions with retail (guidebooks, demo disks), pre-sell programs, buyer mailings, soft bundle opportunities, retail promotions,

competitive category advantage

– Use those insights to demonstrate to retailers the category profits delivered by supporting brand initiatives to ensure they will more
actively support the development of Ubisoft’s brands

– Champion to retailers the changes needed at the point of purchase to influence shopper behavior

– Educate Ubisoft’s Brand team about shopper behavior in order to deliver better integrated plans that reflect the needs of both
consumer and shopper.

Qualifications:

• Ten (10+) plus years experience in Channel Marketing, Marketing or Sales in the Consumer Packaged Goods or Entertainment
industry required
• Five (5) to eight (8) years of management experience required. Experience with creating structure, systems, and team development.
• MBA degree preferred; strong analytical skills.
• Detail oriented – strong organizational/multi-tasking/prioritization abilities.
• High level of communication both written and verbal.
• High level of skill in public speaking as well as presentation.

Report to: Vice President of Worldwide Licensing, Paris HQLead relationships with film studios, television broadcasters, talent agencies, personalities, writers and sports managers to identify entertainment properties available for video game licensing.Analyze licensed properties for market potential and game play possibilities to make recommendations to company executives on best licenses to pursue. Responsible for identifying successful licenses and presenting findings and recommendations to management for application in both Marketing and Production. Evaluate the market potential and risks of licensed properties by looking up historical sales data, conducting genre analysis, making comparisons with other similar products. Prepare and deliver presentations and recommendations on potential licensing opportunities, strategic partnerships, licensing of outside talent to management

Qualifications:
• 5 – 7 years experience in analytics in the entertainment, videogame, interactive or related industries

The Senior Director of Channel Marketing will report to the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales, He/She will be responsible for the management of a full Channel Marketing team who, among other functions, will be developing merchandising and pre-sell programs, creating buyer meeting presentations, and managing merchandising companies.
